DCEC introduces Facebook page

FRANCISTOWN: The Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crime (DCEC) has introduced a Facebook page public relations officer, Lentswe Motshoganetsi has said.

In an interview with Mmegi, Motshoganetsi said the move behind the introduction was to keep up with the pace of developing technology and in order to improve their interaction with the public. He said the Facebook page started its operation in January this year, after realising that social media is powerful.

Motshoganetsi said Facebook is the latest phenomenon that every age group has interest in, and is even available on cell phones, which means they can reach a large number of people as compared to radio and television.
