Twenty five of these reports were classified for investigations while three reports were retained for intelligence purposes. Advice was given on 18 reports and the remaining 60 did not fall under the mandate of the DCEC hence they were referred to other relevant bodies.
The DCEC received 62 reports during the same period last year, 25 of which were classified for investigations while five were further reports; four of the reports were retained for intelligence while advise was given on six reports. The remaining 22 did not fall under the DCEC mandate hence were referred to other relevant departments.
