Damaged Stanbic ATM To Cost P250 000

The Stanbic Bank Auto Teller Machine (ATM) destroyed by thieves at Phakalane Shopping Centre last Thursday will cost P250 000 to repair, a maintenance technician has said.

The machine and wall in which it had been located were both extensively damaged.

A security guard found at the scene on Friday told Monitor that the blast occurred around 2am. Although the blast was massive it did not affect nearby buildings and no one was injured.
