Daisy Loo case finally gets magistrate

The Deputy Registrar and Master of the High Court, Takura Charumbira, has been appointed the new magistrate to hear afresh the criminal case in which Daisy Loo, its Managing Director, Moemedi Dijeng, and certain current and former Gaborone City Council (GCC) employees are accused of conspiring to defraud the council of over P21 million.

The accused, Frank Molebatsi, Gilbert Sithole, Frank Stegling, Bitsang Abby and Dijeng, appeared briefly at the Village Magistrates Court before their attorneys made an application for postponement.
