FRANCISTOWN: A 60-year old man from Kotamogoree Village was on Tuesday arraigned before Regional Magistrate Lorraine Makati-Lesang after dagga plants were found in his backyard garden.

However, the hexagenarian is insisting that the vegetation in question is his medication. The particulars of the offence are that on January 1, 2010, police officers at Dukwi Police Station received a tip-off to the effect that Moses Fani was dealing in a substance suspected to be dagga.

Seven police officers subsequently went to Fani's place where they found three seeds suspected to be dagga seeds on his person upon searching him.
