D-Day for battle of statements' in Nchindo case

The battle for the statements of key witnesses in the Nchindo corruption case will be decided today when the defence and prosecution will argue the matter.

Village chief magistrate, Lot Moroka adjourned the matter yesterday after the prosecution asked the court for time to study the replying affidavit from Nchindo's lawyers to prepare the main arguments.

Principal state counsel, Matlhogonolo Phuthego told the court that they were served with the defence application on Monday last week and they filed the answering affidavit on Friday.
