Customers at risk of static at Rail Park Choppies?

The general manager of Rail Park Choppies, Sallish Kodukkadek, has denied that customers and employees at the supermarket are at risk from electric shock.

This is despite the fact that some customers have complained of being shocked by trolleys.

Nonetheless, Kodukkadek has indirectly admitted the existence of such a risk when he told this newspaper that there was excessive static electricity in the store because of "too much air conditioning".
