Customer shot during armed robbery

A man was shot and wounded during a robbery at a supermarket in Gabane over the weekend. The man, who was a customer in the shop at the time, is still at Princess Marina Referral Hospital, having been hospitalised after the incident.

According to police, the gunman, who is still at large, entered the supermarket in Gabane and walked away with an undisclosed amount of money.

According to witnesses, the shooting took place after the man, together with other customers, attempted to stop the robber.
