Crime landscape changing too fast - Tsimako

Commissioner of Police Thebeyame Tsimako says that the change in the crime landscape in Botswana has caused the police to live in anxiety.

 The commissioner said that new trends like transnational organised crime continues to give them headaches, but he maintained that their efforts will be rewarded with significant reduction in crime some day.

Speaking during the opening of a four-day seminar for senior police officers at the Special Support Group yesterday, Tsimako said: "By the end of the next four days, I am sure we will be one step closer to the realisation of our goals," he said.
