Court to pass judgement in gang-rape case

MAUN: Magistrate Nsikelelo Mafa Moyo is expected to deliver judgement in a case in which three men are accused of gang-raping a 15-year-old teenager.

Last Friday, the state closed the defence case after accused friends Foster Marenga, 29, of Borolong ward Misheck Keemetsemang Masake, 24, of Boyei ward and Keemetswe Ntwe, 25, of Sanyedi ward were given an opportunity to prove their innocence the whole week.

Facts before the court reveal that on December 20 last year, at around 20:00hrs, the trio, acting jointly and using threats, forced the teenager off the road on her way home.
