Botswana Congress Party leaders walked away victorious yesterday in Lobatse after the High Court dismissed with costs, an urgent application brought by the Gaborone City Council demanding the removal of the party's manifesto launch banners around Gaborone.

Justice Modiri Letsididi has dismissed with costs an urgent application launched by Gaborone City Council (GCC) to compel the Botswana Congress Party (BCP) to remove what the former termed as ‘illegal’ advertisement.
