'Court did not issue summons to land fraud accused

FRANCISTOWN: It emerged before court on Friday, why the first-accused in the land fraud case, Ursula Moloko Mokgokong, had failed to appear for mention since the case started last August.

Unoda Mack, of Bahuma and Company, told the court, held at the Francistown Civic Centre (FCC) as it was anticipated there would be a huge crowd that Mokgokong was never served with summonses.

The attorney, who is jointly representing the interdicted principal state attorney, attached to the Department of Lands in Francistown, with Tshekiso Tshekiso of Kgalemang and Associates, said Mokgokong came voluntarily, not that she had been served with summonses.
