FRANCISTOWN:  A court battle looms large as the Francistown City Council (FCC) has reportedly refused to grant former mayor Ephraim Maiketso's wish to be reinstated in his position.

Sources close to Maiketso have disclosed that he is already contemplating legal action against the FCC and has already approached his attorneys for advice.  Although both the city council authorities and Maiketso played their cards close to their chests, consequently denying to discuss details of a letter written to Maiketso last Friday, Mmegi can safely reveal that in the letter the FCC reportedly rebuffed Maiketso's overtures.
