Councillor Mokalake laid to rest

The late Richard Boenyana 'Master' Mokalake, a Botswana Democratic Party specially elected councillor has been described as a dedicated, committed, compassionate person with visionary leadership skills by the mourners who turned up in Serowe, on Saturday to bid him farewell.

Speaker after speaker reiterated the passing on of a much loved councillor as a loss not only to his family and friends but to the nation at large.

"My nephew was a good hearted, patient, and active person who was committed to both his family and the public at large and always helped in issues that affected our families. I could use all the adjectives to describe him," emphasised Phetso Tshimologo, an uncle to the deceased.
