Council hands clear chameleons

FRANCISTOWN: It is Monday afternoon after work and a couple, walking at a leisurely pace, is approaching their home in Somerset-East's Extension when they come across a hideously squashed chameleon on the tarmac.

The woman who nearly steps on the smashed creature that is now a silhouette of white substance - chameleons have no specific colour on the black tar - suddenly shrieks disgustingly while the man shyly looks away.

When they reach home, the woman goes about preparing a scrumptious supper, but when time comes for them to dine, she just looks at the food and then pushes the plate away.
