Cops Warn Public, Motorists On Nnywane Bailey Bridge

LOBATSE: Police here have called for motorists using the A1 road between Lobatse and Gaborone to be extra vigilant and obey road signs especially when approaching the Nnywane Barley Bridge.

In an interview with Woodhall police station commander, Tebogo Madisa yesterday, he said they are concerned with accidents that happen at the bridge despite clear signs, saying so far they have registered five accidents. He said motorists should be particularly careful during holidays and special events such as next week’s beef festival.

“During holidays and special events, we usually experience heavy traffic at the bridge and we continue to urge the public to be cooperative and patient.
