Controversy hounds 2012 Boosta Bash

Controversy still hounds the 2012/2013 Mascom Boosta Bash with one of the organisers, Seabelo Modibe, saying they lost tickets valued at nearly P400,000 but no one being arrested.

Assistant Commander of Urban Police Station in Gaborone, Smash Mokoba, has confirmed that although no one has been arrested, a case has been opened.

"I can confirm that a case has been reported but no links to any suspects has been established so far," Mokoba told Mmegi yesterday. "We are still investigating." Mokoba further stated that they had six tickets that compared well with the 4,000 tickets that the organisers had reported as counterfeited.
