Confusion over suspended BDP youth

Confusion has arisen over the fate of suspended Botswana Democratic Party Youth League (BDPYL) leaders, Kenaleone Motsaathebe, Bashi Kgakge and Boikhutso Nshakazhogwe-Masunga who were banned in April for alleged misappropriation of funds.

Motsaathebe, the BDP Youth Wing's chairman, Secretary General, Nshakazhogwe-Masunga and the treasurer, Kgakge were in April suspended from the party for two months for financial transgressions involving close to P120, 000.

However, information reaching Mmegi indicates that the trio's suspension, imposed by party leader and President Ian Khama, had been lifted after a disciplinary hearing last Thursday.
