Computer lab for Senete Primary School

There was much excitement and jubilation in Senete in the Central District when a brand new computer training centre at the village's local primary school was opened recently.

 The computer laboratory is the first of its kind for a primary school in Botswana. Among other things the fully furnished lab is equipped with 24 desktop computers, laser printers and nine uninterrupted power supplies.

Founder of the Keith Bothongo Foundation, Keith Bothongo handed over the equipment at a special ceremony where Coordinator of the Botswana Education Hub Lucky Moahi gave the keynote address. Acting District Commissioner (DC) Obakeng Sethumo, the village leadership as well as local officials from the Department of Education also attended the event that was characterised by traditional music.
