Commonwealth scholars visit Botswana

Masisi, who is also the former Chevening Scholar said this at luncheon reception that was hosted to welcome Commonwealth Summer School participants to Botswana, at the British High Commissioner's residence yesterday.
He said that he was glad that the scholars will during their stay here,engage on various issues of global interest under the theme, Post COP-17, that includes Climate change and Livelihoods in Africa' with sub themes in food security, renewable energy, health, water, resources management, rural livelihoods and gender.
It underscores the indispensable role women play in our society, particularly in building strong households and nurturing families.
