Cluster fencing in Leshibitse almost complete

Farmers in Leshibitse lands, Kgatleng have been encouraged to start ploughing their fields as cluster fencing in the area is almost complete. Addressing a full council meeting recently, the chairman Stephen Makhura, said that 75 percent of the fencing is almost complete.

On the same matter, Assistant Minister of Agriculture, Oreeditse Molebatsi, recently told Mmegi that he had visited the area and was happy with the progress made. He said that he has made a commitment towards acquiring a borehole for the farmers, which will come in handy in their operations.

He has also promised them a service centre where they will be able to service their tractors, tools and even store some of the equipment. However, the assistant minister recently told parliament that there are no cluster fencing projects under ISPAAD in Ghanzi and Kgalagadi districts.
