Club murder case ripe for trial

The Zoom Nightclub robbery and murder case is due for handing over to the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) for prosecution. Inspector Motlalepula Selelo told the court that investigations are complete and they are ready to refer the docket to the DPP.

In the new charge sheet read in court yesterday, the police have charged Keolopile Moshotle, Oabile Dibobo, Tshepo Ntusa and Tshiamo Morolong with robbery and the murder of Jacob Bogatsu.

The particulars of the charge are that the accused on or about October 30, 2016 at or near Maruapula Caltex Filling Station stole a black Samsung Duos cellphone valued at P1,500 belonging to Bogatsu using violence and eventually murdering him.
