SELEBI-PHIKWE: Members of the Botswana Public Service Unions (BOFEPUSU) who attended Minister Nonofo Molefhi's Kgotla meeting on Monday have requested him to sensitise fellow ministers on how to address workers.

Etlhomilwe Raditshego applauded Minister Molefhi's approach when he addressed them, showing them respect unlike his Cabinet colleagues. He mentioned that some ministers had used Botswana Television (Btv) to inform the nation that civil servants were given 10 percent salary increase last year, which was untrue.

Raditshego also complained that heads of department in Selebi-Phikwe were treating workers on strike like criminals. "They are not willing to assist us when we need their help. They are forgetting that we are also civil servants.
