Chinese photo exhibition starts at Thapong

A photo exhibition started yesterday at the Thapong Visual Arts Centre to promote Botswana's understanding of China.

At the opening ceremony, China's ambassador in Botswana, Liu Huanxing said the exhibition will help Batswana to know the Chinese Communist Party (CPC) and his country's modernisation  better.

He asserted that the 90-year history has been an unremitting fight for national independence, prosperity and for people's happiness. He said the party is closely linked with the fate of the Chinese people, the rejuvenation of the nation and the country's development.
