The Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has withdrawn charges against Ishmael Olekile, Mabone Ramalosa, M.K Capital Power and its director Paul Mchenya all previously charged alongside former Botswana National Front (BNF) youth wing president and Gaborone North parliamentary aspirant, Gabriel Kanjabanga on corruption charges involving a cheque of P399, 500.90.

Phuthego said that the state had withdrawn the charges against the four because it did not have evidence linking them to this fraud case. This came after one of the co-accused Kudzani Gaabopiwe's lawyer Herbert sikhakhane sought to know why the prosecution had withdrawn the charges.
