Cattle posts, masimo habour abused children

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Managers of Kalayakgosi Foundation Trust, an organisation working with orphans, women and vulnerable children say they have recovered many children who have never gone to school.

They have also found school dropouts in the cattle posts and lands around Bobirwa. The organisation says some of the children have been abused as herders, harvesters and in other forms of child labour.

Chief Executive Officer, Sylvester Masweu, says the children have been denied opportunities to go to school.  They get no encouragement to return to school when they drop out.
