Cattle post murders alarm police

Letlhakane police station commander, Solomon Sedumedi is alarmed at the growing number of murder and unlawful wounding cases, especially in cattle posts.

His comment comes in the wake of the recent killing of six siblings that left Letlhakane residents in shock. A family member is alleged to be behind the killings.

The number rose to 10 last year from nine in 2006 while the number of murdered people this year stands at seven. There was one case of attempted murder.
