Case Of Mistaken Corpses

SEFHOPHE: Residents of Sefhophe and Tobane villages last week got the shock of their lives when their dead were accidentally swopped when they were collected from the mortuary in Selebi-Phikwe.

This happened last Monday after residents of Kgosing Ward in Sefhophe went to collect their dead but accidentally collected the wrong body. According to an eye witness from the same ward, the dead person was a member of the royal family by assimilation after he was introduced as a herd man a long time ago.

"The body was collected a day prior to the funeral by a delegation from our ward as is the normal arrangement and nobody suspected anything hence everything went according to plan.
