Candidate takes BCP to court

SELEBI-PHIKWE: A Botswana Congress Party (BCP) candidate has taken his party to court after he was vetted out from contesting the opposition's primary elections.

Itumeleng 'Shine' Ngakaetsile was vetted out from contesting in the Selebi Phikwe East parliamentary elections, which were supposed to take place on Saturday.

As a result, the Selebi Phikwe East parliamentary primary elections were halted pending the outcome of the court case.
