There seems to be more drama brewing over the estimated P1.7 billion cancelled Mogoditshane-Gabane-Mmankgodi tender as the dispute has reportedly escalated to court.

The tendering process has been marred by controversy since 2019 and on April 29, 2021, the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board (PPADB) announced that the tender was stood down pending submission of confirmation and the availability of funds.
