Just how is Dr Ponatshego Kedikilwe coping with the workload at the Office of the Vice President and that of Minerals Energy and Water Resources? BAME PIET finds that the workload could be too heavy for one man and cautions that very soon things will start falling apart

On Wednesday President Ian Khama appointed Vincent Seretse assistant minister of Finance and Development Planning to replace Charles Tibone who announced his resignation from Cabinet in January this year. Only President Khama knows why he gave the ministry of finance such priority, leaving MMEWR with Kedikilwe's divided attention.

For the past two months Minister for Minerals, Energy and Water Resources (MMEWR) Dr Ponatshego Kedikilwe has been doubling as Acting Vice President, a position that is mandated with overseeing government projects, attendance of international gatherings on behalf of the President, and obviously as advisory office to the President.
