Cable theft bleeds BTC coffers - Molosankwe

The Botswana Telecommunications Corporation (BTC) lost more than P2 million in materials and repairs between May 2006 and February last year because of vandalism and cable theft.

This has become one of the major challenges facing the corporation, BTC head of corporate communications, James Molosankwe, says.

He says vandalism and cable theft hamper their efforts to provide essential services to their customers.
