Bye-law Officers 'Harass' Naledi Mechanics

After declaring a war on unlicensed food vendors, the Gaborone City Council authorities have diverted their attention to mechanics who are operating at Old Naledi.

On Friday, the council officials raided mechanics operating from their homes at Old Naledi. 

One of the mechanics, Freedman Kwata said he was fined P200. He was told that if he failed to pay he would be taken to court. The council officials told him that they were charging him for operating without a licence.
