Following the sexual abuse allegations against him, it would seem Biggie Butale’s career was a thing of the past but he has made a rather dramatic return to power. Now, following a press briefing last week where he announced his return to Botswana Patriotic Front’s (BPF) top seat, Mmegi Staffers SHARON MATHALA & MOMPATI TLHANKANE sat down with the man who had a lot to say since his fall from grace

Last year Butale was embroiled in a scandalous controversy when it emerged that he may have sexually abused a young female party colleague.

Soon after the allegations of sexual misconduct were levelled against him, he was suspended from the presidency of the BPF.
