Bus crash death toll rises

SELEBI-PHIKWE: The number of fatalities from the recent bus accident on the Selebi-Phikwe-Serule road has increased to six following the death of another victim yesterday.

Traffic Officer Commanding Superintendent Lekgotla Rankwaila told Mmegi that they learnt of the passing of the sixth victim, a 20-year old male who was referred to Princess Marina Hospital. The ages of those who died last week ranged from three to 32 years.

Rankwaila further noted that all victims who were admitted to Selebi-Phikwe Hospital have been discharged. Three others remain hospitalised, one at Mahalapye Referral Hospital, one at Nyangabwe Referral Hospital and another at Princess Marina Hospital.
