BTU president Ramabya is buried

President of the Botswana Teachers Union (BTU) Pule Ramabya, who died last week Monday was laid to rest at his home village in Mochudi this past weekend.

Ramabya died in a car accident in Gaborone near Mogoditshane. He was born in 1964 and joined BTU in 1988 when he started working as a teacher.

He was the chairperson of the Morakakgama region of BTU from 2005-2006 when he was elected Vice President of BTU, the position he held till 2010 when he became President of the union.  He was also a member of BTU benefit scheme, Botusafe, Pension Fund Investment where he was chairperson for all committees.
