Serowe police are investigating a distressing incident where a man from Serorome ward in Palapye is alleged to have committed acts of rape and assault against his biological sister.

Confirming the incident to Mmegi Online, Paul Oketsang, the officer in charge of No.2 District, disclosed that they were informed yesterday of a case involving a 40-year-old man who reportedly raped his 36-year-old sister.

According to Oketsang, the two individuals had been residing together for a considerable period, but the situation took a grave turn when the brother is said to have assaulted and raped his sister. "The sister arrived where she resides with her brother and went to bed at around 12:30am in the room she shares with her brother," Oketsang revealed.
