Botswana to effect harmony through national symbol

The Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture, Gladys Kokorwe has said that in the National Development Plan 10 (NDP 10), there will be increased use of national symbols that signify harmony.

 She told Parliament that it is intended that during NDP 10, Batswana should enhance the sharing of common goals based on a common heritage. She said Batswana will continue to espouse social values that engender morality and tolerance. 

National cohesion will be promoted alongside the appreciation of cultural diversity. "Transparency and openness will be enhanced and bribery, corruption, graft and similar practices, which tend to eat into the moral fibre of society strongly deprecated.
