Botswana Post bids for Omang, passport registration

Botswana Post Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Pele Moleta has said his organisation is in talks with the government so it could diversify its services to Omang cards and passports registration.

Speaking at the commemoration of World Post Day held in Mmankgodi village near Gabane, Pele Moleta said such a development could make things easier for Batswana because instead of travelling long distances to other departments of the Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs to register for identity cards or passports, they would be able to register at post offices.

"In order for you to utilise our services effectively you must come and enquire at our post offices and our employees will be ready to assist you with a smile," he said.
