Botswana Anti-AIDS Strategy Wins Global Recognition

National AIDS Coordinating Agency (NACA) coordinator, Batho Molomo has said that Botswana's first National Strategic Framework (NSF) has been recognised internationally as a well-articulated and aggressive initiative to deal with AIDS.

Speaking at a consultative workshop for the second NSF on Friday, Molomo said the first one has served its role of mobilising various stakeholders in the multi-sectoral response.

As the first NSF is approaching the end of its lifespan, he said that NACA and stakeholders are well positioned to look ahead over a seven-year horizon to chart the way forward. The second NSF covers 2009-2016.
