BOTEC in second fire drill

Although BOTEC has never had a fire outbreak in its 30-year existence, Ndaba says they do not have to wait for the disaster to strike before empowering their workers with fire-fighting skills.
Ndaba said this at BOTEC recently as 15 BOTEC employees graduated as fire marshals. The acting MD said investing in their employees was good for BOTEC because management is now confident they have trained people in fire risks. This was not BOTEC's first initiative in empowering its people for fire-fighting.
