Bosilong gets a new contract

The station Commander of Molepolole Police Superintendent Andrew Bosilong was recently given a one-year contract after he reached his retirement age in March this year.

Bosilong was supposed to retire this year but The Commissioner gave him a one-year contract for reasons not known by anyone.  In an interview with The Public Relations Officer at Botswana Police Services Christopher Mbulawa he told Mmegi that he was not in a position to discuses any officers contractual agreement with the media. 

However Mbulawa confirmed that Bosilong has been given a one-year contract after his retirement in March this year. He also told Mmegi that according to the Botswana Police Act appointments and transfers at The Organization are all done by The Commissioner who is in the Office at that time.
