BOSETU won't replace Malinga yet - Rari

FRANCISTOWN: Authorities at the Botswana Sectors of Educators Trade Union (BOSETU) say they are not in a hurry to replace former publicity secretary, Raymond Malinga.

"Under our constitution, the president is the one who has the powers to decide who should replace Malinga," secretary general Tobokani Rari said in an interview.

"But he is yet to do that because we as the executive committee are yet to meet to thoroughly discuss the issue of Malinga's departture. Preliminary discussions have been held, however," he added. Malinga left BOSETU nearly two weeks ago to join the Botswana Teachers Union (BTU) where he was allegedly promised an influential role.
