BOSETU fumes over teachers' poor treatment

Botswana Secondary Teachers Union (BOSETU) has reacted angrily at the way teachers' concerns have been handled by the Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC).

On Wednesday, teachers officiating at the BNSC-sponsored talent-identification Botswana Games ordered students off the playing grounds in protest at the poor treatment they received from the BNSC.

Speaking with Mmegi yesterday, BOSETU president, Eric Ditau, said although there had been a communication breakdown between the two parties, the way BNSC handled the issue was unfair to the teachers.
