BOROLONG: Water shortage in Borolong village, 20km west of Francistown has become a daily problem for the past two weeks.

Recently, the situation got so bad that the authorities had planned to send water bowsers to rescue the villagers of Borolong and Shashe Mooke. Tonota senior assistant council secretary, Kwele Puso, says they are aware of the situation and the bowsers are to start supplying the villagers with water today as it failed yesterday due to mechanical problems.

"The water bowser will start at the Kgotla and move around the village giving villagers an opportunity to fill their containers," said Puso.
