BOFEPUSU�s Nationwide Rallies And Demonstrations Start

In December last year, at their special congress held in Tlokweng, BOFEPUSU congregants resolved among others, to return the fire and stage demonstrations against Government on a litany of labour-related issues that are refusing to weather away under the current regime.
The special congress also gave the BOFEPUSU leadership the mandate to pursue legal cases with a view to protecting workers’ rights and labour movement’s rights in the face of repressive laws that are being continually passed with the view to muzzle the Unions.
It has only been a month since the newly elected government, the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC), took power, and there are already a lot of changes.
