BOFEPUSU vows to continue strike

The Botswana Federation of Public Service Unions (BOFEPUSU) has resolved to continue the ongoing nationwide public service strike, as it believes workers are about to win their fight.

Speaking to The Monitor after the BOFEPUSU special national congress that was convened at Letlhabile Primary School in Gaborone on Saturday, the publicity secretary and BLLAHWU president, Goretetse Kekgonegile said that workers believe that victory is imminent and they cannot relent.

Kekgonegile said that they are motivated by the parents, community leaders and Members of Parliament (MPs) who have started voicing their concerns over the strike and calling on government to heed workers' demands.
