BOFEPUSU endorses UDC

A representative of Botswana Federation of Public Sector Unions (BOFEPUSU) over the weekend endorsed the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) for the 2014 general elections.

BOFEPUSU secretary for labour, Johnson Moshwarakgole and secretary for education, Samuel Molaodi said the electoral cooperation of the three UDC parties is what Batswana have been crying for over the years. The UDC is comprised of the Botswana National Front (BNF), Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) and Botswana Peoples Party (BPP).

Speaking during the launch of the UDC parliamentary candidate for Gabane/Mankgodi, Pius Mokgware, Molaodi said other parties that seek votes outside the umbrella would not have the support of BOFEPUSU. “Political parties that are not cooperating with others would not get our support,” said Molaodi.
