BNF youth bickering over Moupo

Botswana National Front Youth League (BNFYL) activist, Arafat Khan, has vowed to pledge his support for party president, Otsweletse Moupo, despite a warning from the BNFYL deputy secretary general, Duncan Basenyapelo, ordering Khan to desist from talking to the media.

Last week Basenyapelo wrote to Khan, the youth wing 's publicity secretary, reminding him that the youth wing had made a resolution in Kanye calling for Moupo to step down as BNF president.

However, Khan, a staunch Moupo loyalist, has indicated that he still supports Moupo to lead the BNF until 2010, contrary to the youth wing decision.
