BNF Women Congress Postponed Indefinitely

The Botswana National Front Women’s League (BNFWL) elective congress that was billed for the April 30 has been postponed indefinitely.

According to the wing spokesperson, Tshepiso Keitire, even though the hosting Kweneng region had concluded preparations, the congress could not continue because the president is not well.

“The preparations for the congress were concluded. But we had to inform constituencies on Thursday after we realised that the health of our president was not in good state. Again another challenge was Phillip Matante by-election in Francistown South constituency because North East constituencies had indicated that there wouldn’t make it to the congress because they used their resources at the by-elections,” Keitire said.
